Check your cubby for January through June events. Film, book, top-level speakers, panels of residents, group discussions; in all these ways, we cover concerns about our aging situations. Here’s January, plus a peek into February. BEING MORTAL: Medicine and what matters in the end. Frontline video featuring bestselling author Atul Gawane, MD, with time for conversation. All sessions will be in the Community Room.
January 21 and January 30, 2:00 -3:30 p.m. Film and conversation.
January 23 and January 28, 6:30 -8:00 p.m.
Invite family and friends for the video plus time for discussion. (These evening hours are a response to residents who want to discuss these issues with family members and others important to them.)

February 9, (Saturday), 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Invite family and friends for conversation about the book, whether they have read it or not.
Why? Many residents who participated in this series two years ago expressed appreciation for the chance to talk openly about life issues as we age as well as issues about dying. Feel free to contact members of the Steering Committee with questions and to offer your ideas.
